It's a very iconic spot near downtown, (caution and common sense is advised) nothing fancy, you go for the food and the ambiance, very colorful characters as well as the locals come here to eat, it opens 24 hrs. I had the pork sandwich with pineapple and it was exquisite, washed down with a local cold beer, exactly what I was looking for. I definitely recommend the experience if you are ever visiting. ”

This place is open 24 hours, the food is cheap but good and the service is very efficient - it's no wonder so many locals are in this place, a fantastic find and a must for anyone trying to do Sao Paulo on a budget. My advice is walk in and carry on all the way through to the back, grab a seat at the bar and, if you're a non Portuguese speaker, ask for a "cardapio em ingles". They're supposedly known for their pork sandwiches - I got the one with provolone and thought it was OK but got food envy from the what the guy next to me ordered, the calabreza. So I came back 5 days later (and several beers in) and paid 4/5 for a delicious, filling meal at 1am. ”
